Placemats: PAGLIA Line
Lime, water - and rye straw: these were the original 19th-century ingredients used to manufacture straw paper. Two hundred years later they have completely changed. However, the success of this product, which Decor was the first to launch in the paper placemats market, continues to remain strong.
Today this paper is obtained through a recycling process and then dyed yellow. The result is a rustic-looking paper which provides a pleasant contrast, also ideal on modern tables. The grammage we use for our 5 general STRAW PAPER coordinates is 70 g/ m2, and its special texture avoids the need for embossing. Our offer of neutral, non-printed placemat sizes is quite wide:
- 30x40 cm, available in 70 g and 100 g
- 33x44 cm
- 35x50 cm 100 g
Straw paper is also available in the 40x60 cm and 40x80 cm runner format (see page 31 in our catalogue).
Other formats are available on demand.
Fit for contact with food when no migration tests are required.
