Recently, there has been a tendency to throw in compostable waste as much material as possible. This to make a GREEN choice, when in reality it is a choice of convenience.
Specifically: why to throw paper in compost when it can be recycled? It is definitely not a sustainable choice to cut down other trees and close the product life cycle. But it’s definitely convenient because differentiating and recycling is tiring and expensive.
This comfort, however, returns to our tables with the agricultural products we consume. Products that are fertilized with the compost that we generate every day.
So, answering the initial question, if you want to be really GREEN try to recycle when you can do it 😊
